Top-dress feed with two rounded scoops and then wet slightly to avoid inhalation. Feed this dose every 12 hours during target period. For best show day results, feed an additional dose 2 hours out from show time!

L-citrulline increases circulating arginine and nitric oxide availability, improving peripheral blood flow and supporting thermoregulation and exercise tolerance in heat-stressed pigs (Mateo et al., 2008; Kong et al., 2016). Studies in swine and other monogastric species also show that alkalinizing agents such as potassium bicarbonate help buffer metabolic acidosis, improve electrolyte balance, and support muscle function and endurance during prolonged activity or heat exposure (Sanders et al., 1999; Johnson & Erdman, 1982). Bicarbonate supplementation has additionally been shown to reduce core temperature rise during exertion by improving acid–base status and maintaining hydration. Betaine supports osmotic balance and cellular hydration, reducing physiological stress responses during transport, weaning, or environmental heat stress (Eklund et al., 2005; Zhang et al., 2014). Together, these ingredients target nitric-oxide–mediated cooling, acid–base stability, and cellular hydration—three well-documented mechanisms that enhance heat tolerance and physical performance in pigs.
